okay.
dream # 1 - there is a scary guy popping up out of nowhere when i'm out and about trying to stick me with this needle/syringe and inject me with something. for some reason i can never get away from him and he always gets to me....which is very upsetting b/c normally my dreams involve just narrowly escaping things. and then at one point i think i'm safe in my car, but this man has hired some kid to do his dirty work and they pop out of my backseat and stick me with whatever is in the syringe. how terrifying is that???
dream #2 - my sisters and i are coming down some kind of weird....stairwell?....tower??....something with many many stories is the best way i can describe it....anyway, we are having to climb down this piping in order to safely get to the next level down, and then at one point there is no level to step down to, but instead its just a MASSIVE drop down to the bottom. so we're hanging with both hands on this pipe and its literally like a 60 foot drop. well, haley lets go and lands, no problem. then jordan lets go and lands, no problem (b/c it's dreamland and they can survive such jumps). they're both like "come on courtney, just let go, it's not a big deal! you can do it!" and i'm like...."guys...i'm gonna die. i can't do it." finally i realize there's no other option and i let go. to my amazement i not only land, but land really gracefully and they both are so surprised and impressed. the end. what the????
what does it all MEAN??? i need to know what my subconscious is telling me! i've had lots of others, but those are the two most recent that i thought were just BIZARRE.
welp, time to go to bed. crossies scary man doesn't come chasing me around with that syringe again.

ReplyDeleteDream #1: The guy chasing you with a syringe is your future husband. You're running from him because you're afraid of commitment. Then he recruits a child (your future children) to inject you with the anti-commitment phobe serum.
Dream #2: You and your sisters are coming down out of a tower or a staircase, which is where we've kept you all this time waiting for Mr. Right. You think it's treacherous, so you follow the sisters. Of course Haley lands safely and is willing to go first. Duh! She's pretty sure she's found her Mr. Right. Then Jordan goes second because she is in a new relationship and you think it's easier for her than you. But the fact that you finally let go and land just as well, if not better, than your sisters. This is a prophetic dream. I am happy to report that you will marry. You will marry WELL AND soon. Sooner than you expect because your sisters are encouraging you to go ahead and do it! :)
P.S. I have a couple of prospects! ;P

ReplyDeleteDream #1: You are fearful of an encroaching deadline. Perhaps you're feeling the pressure from mom to find a husband. Whatever it is, you're trying to avoid it by running in the opposite direction only to be surprised when you're least expecting it- hence the kids in your car stabbing you anyway. SO... you're feeling pressure to meet a deadline and it ends up meeting you in a an unexpected place.
Dream #2: Mother is pretty darn spot on. I didn't get the tower metaphor the first time around. But the whole 'us jumping' thing is correct. it's a marriage thing. i jump and land- i get married. jordan jumps and lands- she gets married. you finally see no other option, and we're encouraging you, so you jump and land surprisingly well. meaning, you're marriage will probs trump all. but the sixty foot drop thing means you won't get married till you're 60 ;)
